When Jessie approached me about doing her senior photos, I was truly so excited! She's known for her sweet nature and just a lover of everything in life, I knew her photos would have to be as radiant as her personality. For the first time, I took one of my seniors down to the lake shore to do photos, and the rocky cliffs provided some of the most beautiful pictures. Here's 4 of my favorites!
Getting to do Mikki and Zach's engagement photos was absolutely wonderful. Loved getting to hear about how they met, Zach was her first dance partner. Beyond that, their love is truly amazing!
One of my favorite girls to shoot for, Abby!! We chose her outfit upon the current popularity with thigh high boots and she totally rocked it with her pairing of an overall and sweater. She brought along her boyfriend Abe, and we got a few of shots of the star soccer player for his high school team at Central.
Going to say I was a tad bit nervous going into this session, but luckily the star of the show was adorably cooperating and as her dad said "oddly pliable". It's been a while since I've worked indoors, so lighting and post edits were key. It's amazing what a few touch ups can do, SOOC versus EDIT. For my first newborn session, I am happy that the new parents are excited with the photos! Sharing a couple of my favorite shots.
This pretty girl is going to DBU next fall! We went to an area in downtown Dallas for these shots. We found an adorable old schoolroom which was a perfect setting for this future teacher! We took a lunch break at Hard Rock Cafe, which was a first for me. DELICIOUS burgers!! Then we finished at the beautiful DBU campus.
Luckily a last minute slot opened up in time for Austin to get his senior pictures done! This guy's going to UT Tyler for baseball. One of my favorite parts of his shoot was incorporating his beloved jeep in a few shots. We went out around 5:30pm in an open field behind Bottle Cap Alley , which is sadly going under construction in a few months (DANG). Glad him and his family like how the pictures turned out!
Loved getting to do senior pictures for this stud here! One of the captain's of the varsity football team and incredibly involved with many organizations on campus. But trying out new edits on his photos, and they turned out pretty great I think!
