First time getting to shoot in the heart of Dallas, and it was a blast! Cristian and I drove down there and began looking for the most artistic spots we could to represent his own creative personality. For a man in love with music and the arts, giant graffiti walls, old theaters, and the record stores captured him perfectly. We somehow got lucky and convinced the manager at House of Blues to let us on the stage for a few of his shots. Fun fact: Cristian says he spends WAY too much of his money on concerts held there throughout the year. It was only fitting. We finished off his session with a last minute drop to Joy's Maroon Shop, which I will agree sells some of the best macaroons I have ever tasted! So glad he liked his experience and how the photos turned out!
To start off, it rarely snows in this area, so this was a once in a long time oppurtunity. Felicia is a fashion designer, designing and sewing her own clothes. This time for her FCCLA competetion, she designed and made her drawings real in this rose colored lace dress. Shout-out to her for being a champ and taking on the below freezing temperatures! Of course, we could not have done it without assistance from her sisters holding an umbrella to keep the snowflurries away and a parka jacket closeby during each take. This is my absolute favorite shoot I've had, so inspired my this beauty!
